A little bit about me…..
In 1998 I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Soon after I ventured off to sunny Florida to spread my wings a little, figure out where I wanted to be and what it was that I really wanted to do with my life. Turns out I was a New England girl at heart and came back to NH.
After I had my son, I started working with Juvenile Probation & Parole here in the area and really love what I do. With that said, my profession can be very stressful & even heartbreaking at times. How do I balance out all of that stress? By enjoying a few of my favorite past times... delicious food & wine and all things involving interior decorating.
My fiance and I have a super busy household with 3 children & 2 puppies, and on top of that we're in the midst of remodeling our new home. Since spare time is a bit of a luxury for me, I still manage to sneak in some 'me time' by catching some of my favorite shows on the Food Network (LOVE Ina and Giada) and HGTV.
I love to try different wines (I'm a huge fan of anything red) and lately I've found that I'm really loving a lot of Malbecs and Pinot Noirs! And I think it's always fun to pair wines with different cheeses and appetizers so I've definitely been having fun with that.
I've also always loved browsing my favorite home decor stores, looking for those certain "That's it!" items that always seem to make a house really feel like home. After all it's not about where you live, it's what you are able to do with your space that really makes it amazing. I think sharing ideas with others is great, and if they take something back to their home from what we share that's even better! I look forward to sharing some of my favorite recipes, TV shows, restaurants and decorating ideas with all of you.
